AdGroup File Generator is a template tool that buyer fills out on their device and uploads to the system. After that, Babkee creates ad groups and links based on the file info. You can launch the tool in Management - Adgroups - Adgroup File Generator.
Before downloading the template file, it is recommended to fill out the fields in the Field Memo section. All selected data will be automatically inserted into the template file, with no need to enter them manually. Next to each parameter in parentheses you can see the system designation (abbreviation) of each parameter in the File generator.
Partner - A list of partners with whom we collaborate. Please select where your traffic will be directed.
Site - A list of targeting websites. Please select the website where your traffic will be directed.
Source - A list of sources (source partners), where links are displayed. Please select the source of your traffic.
Url Format - format of the link (automatically generated by the system).
Site page - specifies the ad landing page. Landing websites have different pages (top 5, top 5s, etc.). By default, the system inserts the necessary page format depending on the selected parameters.
Use Redirect - enables redirect to an intermediate page. If the checkbox is not checked, the final link will lead directly to the partner's page. Redirect can be enabled for third-party partners when the buyer wants to use keyword rotation (please note that Google Ads does not support redirect).
Redirect is enabled automatically for PropellerAds and RollerAds.
Market - A list of targeting countries where ads are displayed. Please select the targeting country.
Device - A list of targeting devices. Please select the device where traffic will be targeted.
Language - Target ad language (automatically set depending on the chosen country).
You can then download the template to .xlsx or .csv file.
If you consistently work with the same partner, the pre-filled file can be reused as a template. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
Columns to fill:
Campaign - enter the name of the Campaign folder where the ad groups will be saved (an existing folder name or enter new campaign name).
Adgroup name - enter the ad group name with the necessary parameters (e.g., best sea cruises 1808).
Keyword - enter the keywords, one per row.
After filling out all the fields, save and upload the file. The "check for uniqueness" checkbox verifies the uniqueness of the keywords within the campaign.
After a successful upload, you can download the completed file again (Download modified file). The following fields will be filled out:
Final URL - the link to be placed in the advertisement
System name - the ad group name in Babkee
Adgroup Link - the adgroup edit link
Keywords Link - the link to Keyword List, where you can add words and configure keyword rotation.
After uploading the file to the system, the new ad groups can be found in Management - Campaigns - Campaign List. By clicking the Edit button, you can edit adgroup settings. The Generate Link provides a link to copy the landing page URL. There you can also find a link to the keywords list.
To add new keywords and enable rotation, click on Keywords and then click Create New.
Please note:
1 Rotation works with 1-click partners (Yahoo, Bing feeds) only; rotation does not work with 2-click partners (Google RSOC feeds).
2 When working with Yahoo sites (TMD, WWU, etc.), you do not need to enable redirects for rotation.
3 When working with third-party partners (3rd party partners), you need to enable redirects for rotation.
